The Louisiana based phosphate importer PCS Nitrogen has yet again imported phosphates from occupied Western Sahara.

PCS on 12th of September 2008 received the vessel Voge West, fully loaded with phosphate from Western Sahara. She spent 229 hours in the Port of South Louisiana, from 10th of September, until 19th of September.

Trade with such phosphates is highly unethical and in violation of international law. PCS has historically been the most important customer of phosphates from the Moroccan government's illegal phosphate production in occupied Western Sahara. The Sahrawi people of Western Sahara do not profit from the trade.

The Liberian flagged vessel is owned by the German shipping company Vogemann.

Voge West has the following ownership information:
Group owner Vogemann GmbH
Shipmanager Roth Reederei
Operator Vogemann GmbH
Registered owner Voge West GmbH & Co

Also the Danish shipping company Armada Group consider the vessel to be in their fleet, probably chartered to the Danish. It is also possible that the vessel has some kind of relation to Worldex Shipping Inc.

The vessel has IMO number 9077109, and was formely known under the name Xinshi Hai.
Agent in the harbour of New Orleans is K & C Shipping.
