Bulk Jupiter heading for Western Sahara

The Gearbulk vessel Bulk Jupiter passed through Gibraltar on its way to El Aaiun, occupied Western Sahara. The photo shows the bulk carrier anchored off Gibraltar on 19th of July 2007.

In El Aaiun, it picked up its cargo, consisting of illegally mined phosphate rock from the BouCraa mines.

The vessel then passed through the Panama Canal on 19th of August, and arrived its destination, Port of Tauranga New Zealand, on September 11th, 2007.
